Document Description
The primary objective of the currently proposed project is to improve water quality in both lake basins by recontouring, deepening, and lining the basins, and improving circulation. Currently proposed improvements to Lindo Lake Park that are different from those proposed by previously approved projects include the following: vegetation removal associated with the basin grading; transport of some of the excavated basin material offsite; the addition of new hardscape, windmills, and tide gauges; a pre-fabricated pedestrian bridge and boardwalk, bird watching stations, and fishing piers; drainage improvements including sediment basins with associated fencing and gates; inlet protection and lake-top aeration; the elevation of the boat house foundation; landscaping, irrigation, and best management practices for erosion control.
