THE CITY OF L.A. DEPT. OF WATER AND POWER PROPOSES TO CON- STRUCT A NEW 6.7 MILE, DOUBLE-CIRCUIT 230-KILOVOLT ALTERNAT- ING-CURRENT TRANSMISSION LINE SEGMENT ALONG AN EXISTING TRANSMISSION LINE IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY. THE PURPOSE OF THE NEW TRANSMISSION LINE SEGMENT IS TO REINFORCE THE ELECTRICAL LOADING CAPABILITY OF THE FOUR EXISTING RINALDI- NORTHRIDGE TRANSMISSION LINES.
