THE CITY OF NORCO IS PROPOSING TO AMEND THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE NORCO GENERAL PLAN. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE AMENDMENT IS TO ALLOW THE FORMATION OF A SPECIFIC PLAN OVERLAY ZONE OVER THE I-15 CORRIDOR AREA(THE "OVERLAY ZONE") SHOWN ON FIGURE 1; THIS AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 930 ACRES IN SIZE.
