THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT AND CONFINEMENT OF VARIOUS AQUIFERS UNDER OWENS (DRY) LAKEBED. FIVE EXPLORITORY WELLS ON THE EAST LAKEBED ARE PROPOSED IN THE ATTACHED DESCRIPTION. THESE WELLS WILL BE LOCATED ON THE LAKEBED ITSELF OR IN A DISTURBED AREA NEAR A ROAD.
