PROPOSED PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF A 20 ACRE INTERMODAL TRANSFER FACILITY AT THE PORT'S OUTER HARBOR MARINE TERMINALS. THE FACILITY WILL INCLUDE 4 WORKING TRACKS CAPABLE OF HANDLING A FULL-DOUBLE STACK UNIT CONTAINER TRAIN. ALSO INCLUDES CLOSURE OF PETROLEUM STREET, CONSTRUCTION OF A CONTAINER-ACCESS ROAD, AND POSSIBLY THE UPGRADING OF EXISTING RAIL TRACKAGE.
