PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT A TRANSIT FACILITY IN THE VASONA/ HIGHWAY 17 CORRIDOR IN SANTA CLARA COUNTY. A NUMBER OF TRANSIT MODES, INCLUDING LIGHT RAIL AND EXPRESS BUS SERVICE ARE BEING CONSIDERED. THE VASONA/HIGHWAY 17 CORRIDOR WAS DETERMINED IN THE COUNTY'S TRANSPORTATION 2000 PLAN TO BE AN IMPORTANT CORRIDOR TO BE CONSIDERED FOR FUTURE TRANSIT IMPROVEMENTS. THIS DOCUMENT IS TO DETERMINE THE TYPE OF SERVICE BEST SUITED FOR THE CORRIDOR.
