A 36" PIPELINE WILL BE REQUIRED TO ASSURE DELIVERY OF THE DISTRICT'S 4300 AC. FOOT ENTITLEMENT OF RUSSIAN RIVER WATER. USE OF NOVATO'S DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IMPOSES CONSTRAINTS ON AMOUNTS AND TIMES THAT WATER CAN BE DELIVERED TO SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL MARIN COUNTY. THE PIPELINE WILL CONNECT THE TERMINUS OF THE NORTH MARIN AQUEDUCT, AT A PRESSURE REGULATING STATION NORTH OF ATHERTON AVENUE, IN NOVATO. THE TWO PIPELINE TERMINI ARE ABOUT 3.3 MILES APART.
