PROPOSAL TO TRANSPORT OVERBURDEN FROM THE QUARRY TO A NEARBY 860 AC. SITE IN THE ANZAR HILLS. THE PROPOSED OVERBURDEN SITE IS IN SAN BENITO COUNTY ABOUT 2-1/2 MILES EAST OF AROMAS AND 3-1/2 MILES NW OF SAN JUAN BAUTISTA. THE EXISTING OVERBURDEN STORAGE SITES WILL SHORTLY BE FILLED TO CAPACITY, AND CONTINUED QUARRY OPERATION AND OVERBURDEN REMOVAL WILL REQUIRE A NEW PLACEMENT AREA.
