Document Description
County initiated amendments to the approved 1995 Ellwood Beach-Santa Barbara Shores Specific Plan and to the Goleta Community Plan;
Amendments to the Santa Barbara Shores - Ellwood Beach Specific Plan including modified land uses, densities, access, and development envelopes on the Santa Barbara Shores and Monarch Point Reserve portions of the Specific Plan area modifications to the Santa Barbara Shores/County Park portion of the Specific Plan. Incorporate many of the suggested modifications made by the California Coastal Commission in response to proposed Plan amendments in 1997.
Environmental review of the project would involve preparation of a focused supplemental EIR to the Ellwood Beach - Santa Barbara Shores Specific Plan EIR (91-EIR-3), the February 7, 1995 addendum to 91-EIR-3 prepared for the Specific Plan adopted by the County and certified by the Coastal Commission in 1995, the Goleta Community Plan EIR (91-EIR-13) and its primary addendum dated July 13, 1993, and the Goleta Growth Management Ordinance Supplement EIR (dated July, 1995) to the Goleta Community Plan EIR.
