The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) adopted an Addendum to the previous Initial Study/Negative Declaration and approved the renewal of the Post Closure Permit (Permit) for Ducommun Aerostructures Facility (Facility), pursuant to California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5, for ten years. The Facility area covers about 2.25-acre former percolation pond and 0.75-acre surface impoundment, located in Adelanto, California. The Permit outlines maintenance of the cap and cover, environmental monitoring, and maintenance of financial mechanisms to fund the post closure activities.
