PROPOSED PROJECT WILL INITIALLY CONSISTS OF A 30 MGD DOMESTIC WATER TREATMENT PLAN, UTILIZING WATER DIVERTED FROM THE TUOLUMNE RIVER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DISTRICT'S EXISTING WATER RIGHTS, AND WATER TRANSMISSION LINES TO CONNECT WITH THE PLANT WITH THE EXISTING WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM OF MODESTO. A SECOND PHASE DOUBLING THE PLANT CAPACITY TO 60 MGD (AND SOME ADD'L. TRANSMISSION LINES) IS PLANNED FOR THE FUTURE.
