Document Description
The proposed project consists of the installation of an 42" storm drain and headwall into Napa Creek. The pipe will discharge groundwater and surface runoff from the new interchange at Highway 29 and Trancas Street. The work in Napa Creek will consist of trenching through the bank using a backhoe or excavator, placement of a 42" outfall pipe in the trench, and backfilling the trench with rock and soil. At the toe of the bank rock will be keyed in for toe stabilization. Poured in place concrete wing walls, parallel to the bank, will be constructed in the creek. To dewater the site for the construction a temporary coffer dam consisting of sandbags will be placed in Napa Creek.
