SAA #1600-2002-5053-R5 Applicant proposes to alter the lake by removing floating and emergent aquatic vegetation from within the aapproximately 40-acre Machado Lake in selected areas for vector control purposes. It is estimated that approximately 20-acres of both floating (i.e. Ludwigie peploides) and emergent (ile. Typha sp. Scirpus sp. etc) exist within Machado Lake.
