Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), issued a Class 2 Permit Modification for Acme Fill Corporation (AFC). The AFC Class 2 Permit Modification authorizes the construction of a one-acre solar farm within the horizontal, but not vertical, limits of the closed landfill, above the impermeable cap placed to contain hazardous waste. The capping material containing hazardous waste is below the vertical limits of the proposed solar farm. The solar farm is expected to generate approximately 372.64 kilowatts per hour.
