CAL APPLIED FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 87-33 FOR AN ASBESTOS CONTAINING WASTE (ACW) LANDFILL. THE PROPOSED ACW LANDFILL WILL RESULT IN THE FILLING OF THE MINE WITH SOLID WASTE CONSISTING OF PAKAGES CONTAINING ACW. THE ACW WOULD BE TRANSPORTED TO THE SITE FROM SITE CLEANUPS THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
