Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (1600-2019-0206-R5), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Stokes Canyon LLC. The Project is limited to construction of five (5) residential lots and the access road on undeveloped land in Calabasas. The project site contains Stokes Creek and 2 unnamed tributaries that collect water from the adjacent hillside and feed into Stokes Creek from the west. Stokes Canyon Road parallels the creek to the east. The new buildings will be placed to the east of Stokes Creek. Impacts to the streambed area will result in permanent impacts to 215 linear feet, totaling 0.43 acres of Stokes Creek from construction of the box culvert access road crossing and the ingress and egress concreted slopes of the box culvert. Permanent impacts from grading and fill of the two tributaries will result in the loss of 405 linear feet, totaling 0.13 acres of streambed habitat.
