TH PERMIT AUTHORIZES PG&E TO OPERATE HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGE- MENT UNITS AT THE POWER PLANT. THESE UNITS WILL ALLOW PG&E TO STORE HAZARDOUS WASTE ONSITE IN TO TREAT HAZARDOUS WASTEWATER ONSITE. THE DEPARTMENT HAS REGULATED THESE ACTIVITIES THROUGH AN INTERIM PERMIT SINCE 1981.
