PROPOSED FACILITY WILL REMOVE HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF NITRATES FROM EX THEREBY MAKING THE GROUNDWATER SUITABLE FOR DOMESTIC USE. PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT IS TO REDUCE NEED FOR IMPORTED WATER IN MEETING LOCAL WATER DEMANDS.
