THE SMUD SPPCO INTERTIE PROJECT IS PLANNED AS A 345,000 VOLT SINGLE CIRCUIT EXTRA HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSMISSION LINE, TO CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL TR OF SMUD AND SIERRA PACIFIC POWER COMPANY. LINE WOULD ALLOW FOR POWER EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE TWO UTILITIES FOR MUTUAL BENEFIT.
