Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District. The applicant proposes the diversion of the Fresno Canal (Fancher Creek) across the remnant channel of the historic Fancher Creek. Water from the canal will migrate and provide water for the existing habitat. Removed trees will be replaced at 2:1 ratio with native tree plantings.
