Document Description
The project consists of the adoption of the updated Housing Element of the City of Calimesa General Plan. As required by law, the Housing Element was updated in accordance with Article 10.6, Section 65580-65589.5 of the California Government Code. The element consists of the identification and analysis of existing and projected housing needs and a statement of goals, policies, quantified objectives, financial resources, and scheduled programs for the preservation, improvement, and development of housing. The purpose of the element is to assure that Calimesa contributes to the attainment of the state housing goal including the attainment of decent housing and a suitable living environment for every California family, the beneficiaries of the project.
