Note: Extended Review per lead. Caltrans, in cooperation with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, is proposing to implement transportation improvements to improve mobility and relieve congestion on SR 710 between SR 2 and I-5, 10, 210, and I-605, respectively) in east / northeast Los Angeles and the western San Gabriel Valley. The study area for the SR 710 North Study is approximately 100 square miles and generally bounded by I-210 on the north, I-605 on the east, I-10 on the south, and I-5 and SR 2 on the west. The proposed alternatives include: the No Build Alternative, Transportation System Management/Transportation Demand Management (TSM/TDM) Alternative, Bus Rapid Transit Alternative, Light Rail Transit Alternative, and Freeway Tunnel Alternative.
