The rock revetment was built to protect the shoreline and the San Elijo SB campground behind it. The reconstruction involved using existing armor rock and importing approximately 1900 tons of armor rock and 1000 tons of beach cobble. The approximately 240-foot long by 30-foot wide revetment was placed adjacent to the newly eroded shoreline. The rebuilt revetment fit within a similar size of the previous revetment and the beach cobble was used to rebuild the public and emergency access ramp. ,https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2023050344,Campground Emergency Revetment Repair (22/23-SD-12),Marya Ahmad,California Department of Parks & Recreation - San Diego Coast District,District Environmental Coordinator,marya.ahmad@parks.ca.gov,4477 Pacific Highway,,San Diego,CA,92110,6196883395,,San Diego,San Diego,San Diego,S.
