The improvements propose a log crib wall with encapsulated soil and willow stakes to repair an eroded portion of the bank of Sonoma Creek. Angular rip rap is proposed at the upstream and downstream ends of the cribwall to prevent scour and protect the encapsulated soil. The total length of the proposed crib wall and rip rap is approximately 45 feet. All proposed work will be performed during the dry season when as little water as possible is present in Sonoma Creek. It is anticipated that the proposed improvements will be conducted out of the water, with plywood and sandbags installed to separate the work area from the water, and prevent water from entering the work area, if necessary. No large trees are to be removed as a part of the proposed work. The proposed work shall be completed in a manner that minimizes erosion and does not negatively affect water quality. Erosion control measures such as fiber rolls and seeding and strawing of disturbed areas are proposed to prevent erosion.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2022100166,Knupp Riparian Corridor Zoning Permit ZPE22-0040,Robert Aguero,Permit Sonoma,Senior Environmental Specialist,Robert.Aguero@sonoma-county.org,2550 Ventura Ave.,,Santa Rosa,CA,95403,7075653718,38°23'49.7"N 122°33'13.1"W,,Sonoma,Sonoma,Dawn Ridge Road,95442,,050-210-037,12,Sonoma Creek,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,Section 15333 Small Habitat Restoration Projects,"The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Sections, Section 15333, because the project is a small stream bank restoration project to reduce erosion and sedimentation and none of the exceptions of 15300.2 would apply to the project.",,,,,,,,,,,,
