The first location at Lakewood Drive includes extending the existing riprap along approximately 350 feet of shoreline between Chimney and Hazel Campgrounds. Rock slope protection fabric will be placed once the area has been prepared by clearing vegetation and providing a stable slope for the rocks to be placed onto. The second location at Day Use Area will include approximately 300 feet of riprap north of the concrete boat ramps. Thirteen pine trees 6” diameter at breast height (dbh) or greater up to the largest size of 36” and several shrubs will be removed for the placement of rock and a small portion of shoreline will be re-aligned to better handle wave action along the shoreline. The third location at Mormon Emigrant Trail, include a fence at the road elevation to restrict pedestrian routes to the lake. It is proposed to include a new stairway that would be an additional route to the lake from this parking area. Eroded shoulders and the lake bank will be restored to their original condition by filling these ruts with embankment material that would be stepped into the existing and compacted in place.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2022070284,Sly Park Stabilization Projects (Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. ELD-24687-R2),Caitlyn Oswalt,Department of Fish and Wildlife,Environmental Scientist,caitlyn.oswalt@wildlife.ca.gov,1701 Nimbus Road,,Rancho Cordova,CA,95670,9163584315,38°44'8.7"N 120°32'6.3"W,,El Dorado,El Dorado,,,,042-011-016-000,,Jenkins Lake,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption," Class 1 ; California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15301","This project is class one exempt because it consists of the repair, maintenance, and minor alteration of existing public structures and topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use.",,,,,,,,,,,,
