The project would include the following roadway improvements: Cold plane and overlay the existing asphalt concrete (AC) pavement with 0.20’ Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA), dig-out and replace the damaged structural pavement sections on locations with a high density of Alligator B cracking, fog seal AC pavement shoulders on segments with wide shoulders, upgrade the existing Metal Beam Guardrail (MBGR) to Midwest Guardrail System (MGS), upgrade/construct non-standard ADA curb ramps and pedestrian refuges to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), install Class II bike lanes along SR-34 (Lewis Road and Somis Road) between Pleasant Valley Road (PM 12.79) and West Street (PM 17.03) in Camarillo and Somis, install new sidewalks at various locations including modifications to various impacted drainage systems, and install Rapid Flashing Beacons at the existing cross walk at Rice Avenue and North Street in Somis.
