The scope of work includes roadway excavation for striping and lighting; removal and replacement of concrete (curb, sidewalk, and curb ramp); removal of pavement markings; installation of crosswalk and pavement markings; and the installation of the PHB system. Minor right-of-way is required from the school for the HAWK electrical boxes. The purpose of the project is to provide proper warning to motorists and requiring vehicles to slowdown and stop at the crosswalk. Currently, there is a pattern of rear-end collisions at the intersection when vehicles suddenly stop for pedestrians, and the system will reduce the number and severity of the collisions.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2021030475,Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon on SR 165/Lander Avenue and Campbell Avenue,Karimeh Juma,Associate Environmental Planner,N/A,karimeh.juma@dot.ca.gov,1976 E.
