Flood control was not an authorized purpose, but the NTW has historically provided and continues to provide flood risk reduction to the surrounding area. However, the height and width of the NTW have decreased over time. This reduction and ongoing, persistent erosion from storm events have combined to increase the flood risk to the Hallwood community, the City of Marysville, and portions of Reclamation District 10 (D-10). The Three Rivers Levee Improvement Authority (TRLIA) is proposing the project to decrease the flood risk to these areas by reshaping the NTW embankment to a more stable geometry, and enhance approximately 2.4 acres of aquatic and riparian habitat in the Yuba River floodplain.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2020120237/4,Yuba River North Training Wall Project Final Mitigated Negative Declaration,Paul Brunner,TRLIA,N/A,PBrunner@CO.YUBA.CA.US,"1114 Yuba Street, Suite 218",,Marysville,CA,95901,5307497841,39°11'35"N 121°29'11"W,Marysville,Yuba,,Walnut Avenue,95901,50,006-100-074-000,20,Yuba River, none,No,,,,,"Biological Resources, Geology/Soils, Hydrology/Water Quality, Tribal Cultural Resources, Vegetation, Wildlife",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
