The Project includes dewatering the Lakeview Pipeline: releasing water from one blow-off structure (BO) into San Jacinto Creek. Once water level and pressure reduce so water no longer flows through the BO pumps will be placed into the pump well structures (PW). Water will be pumped through 6 inch flexible hose attached to a diffuser socks, allowing the water to travel into San Jacinto Creek. The empty pipeline will then be inspected and maintained. Routine inspection of the Pipeline prevents catastrophic failures that can be prevented with regular inspections. The LSA is limited to impacts as a result of dewatering to and within San Jacinto Creek. No vegetation will be removed, no burrows for small mammals and ground birds will be impacted, no sensitive species will be impacted, lighting from night work will be limited to prevent impacts to nocturnal birds and mammals, measures to prevent the introduction of invasive species will be followed, and BMPs to prevent erosion will be installed. All materials and equipment will be removed at the end of the work.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2020100307/2,Lakeview Pipeline Shutdown Dewatering (LSA No. 1600-2020-0036-R6),Megan Evans,Department of Fish and Wildlife,N/A,,3883 Ruffin Road,,San Diego,CA,92123,8053204417,,Perris,Riverside,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,State type and section number: Class 1; Section 15301,"Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination.",,,,,,,,,,,,
