The project site is an equine facility where current peak flows leaving the property have caused significant erosion along the channels of Washington Creek. The project includes the construction of rainwater storage tanks (200,000 gallon capacity) that would be filled from the roofs of several large structures around the property including barns and horse arenas. These structures already have gutters and downspouts in place that can be used to tie into the rainwater storage system, and the tanks have been sized based on projected runoff from these structures. The project will also restore native plants on the property, with vegetated swales designed to slow, spread, and sink stormwater that is not captured in the tanks. Plants will be irrigated and established using water stored in the tanks.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2020070202/2,Sonoma Mountain Stormwater Management and Rainwater Storage,Erica Mikesh,Sonoma Resource Conservation District,N/A,,"1221 Farmers Lane, Suite F",,Santa Rosa,CA,95405,7075691448 ext. 108,,Petaluma,Sonoma,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,Class 3 - §15303,"Project includes construction of two 100,000 gallon tanks that will be filled by rainwater coming off of existing buildings.
