The proposed project requires approval of a General Plan Amendment from Mixed-Use to Residential Medium Density (RMD) and a Rezone from Mixed-Use (MX) to Residential Medium Density (RMD), as well as the approval of the Tentative Subdivision Map. It should be noted that the project site is not included on any of the lists of sites enumerated under Section 65962.5 of the Government Code including, but not limited to, lists of hazardous waste facilities, land designated as hazardous waste property, and hazardous waste disposal sites. The Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) evaluated whether any of the project components would result in adverse impacts to the environment.
