The project is limited to the operation and maintenance of the Moore Canal Diversion Dam. The Moore Canal Diversion Dam is a seasonal flashboard dam with rectangular abutments connected with a concrete sill. The dam is approximately 6 feet tall and 56 feet wide. The concrete sill supports a hinged metal I-beam check structure which supports the flashboards, when installed, or lays flat when not in use. The I-beams are held up with pins when the flashboards are installed. The center of the concrete sill contains a 2-foot by 2-foot notch that passes water underneath the flashboards. The project would cold pane 0.25 feet of existing asphalt concrete (AC) pavement and replace with 0.25 feet of hot-mix asphalt (Type A) . The scope of work is from edge of travel-way (ETW) to AC roadway. All work will be performed within the existing right of way.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2020040026/2,Moore Canal Diversion Dam (Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2019-0278-R2),Gabriele Quillman,Department of Fish and Wildlife North Central Region,N/A,,"1701 Nimbus Road, Suite A",,Rancho Cordova,CA,95670,9163582955,38°52'21.6"N 121°21'21.5"W,,Placer,,"Location: The project is located at Auburn Ravine, in the County of Placer, State of California",,,021-490-009-000,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,"Type – Class 1; California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15301 (Existing Facilities)",The project is exempt under Class 1 because it consists of the operation and maintenance of an existing facility (the Moore Canal Diversion Dam) with no expansion of use.,,,,,,,,,,,,
