Work will include, among other things, installation of conveyance channels, a flow splitter, a forebay, and a vegetated filter strip in the southeastern portion of the ERL MRF Reclamation Area. Rock lined conveyance channels will be constructed leading into the flow splitter, which will be constructed of concrete and used to bypass flows in excess of the 85th percentile storm event. A forebay will be constructed of concrete immediately downstream of the flow splitter to settle larger particles. Construction of the vegetated filter strip will involve approximately 1.5 acres of micro-grading on a relatively flat site to make it extremely flat to ensure a wide, shallow, and slow flow through the treatment unit. Level spreaders will be constructed of gravel within the treatment unit perpendicular to the flow·to prevent the flow from concentrating in any one area, which could decrease treatment performance and cause erosion. Construction downstream of the treatment unit includes rock-lined channels and new culverts under the perimeter road. Construction is tentatively scheduled for summer 2020. All work will be done in previously disturbed areas.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2020030556/2,Eastern Regional Landfill Stormwater Improvements Project,Shirlee Herrington,County of Placer,N/A,,"3091 County Center Drive, Suite 190",,Auburn,CA,95603,5307453132,,Truckee,Nevada,,900 Cabin Creek Road,,,080-070-016,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,"15301(b), 15301(f), 15304(a), and 15330(b)(7)","Pursuant to Sections 15301(b), 15301(f), 15304(a), and 15330(b)(7) of CEQA Guidelines, this project is exempt from further CEQA review.
