The project is limited to the removal of an approximately 5-foot wide, 6-foot high, and 14-foot long reinforced concrete box culvert and associated retaining walls (two on each side of the culvert) with an approximately 6.5-foot wide, 8-foot high, and 16-foot long open bottom concrete arch culvert. The new culvert will have cast-in-place concrete retaining walls (two on each side of the culvert) that vary in length from 5 to 7 feet. Approximately 100 cubic yards of fill composed of˝ ton rock (from on-site), on-site soil, and imported soil will be used to backfill behind the retaining walls to provide protection of the stream bank and roadway. Implementation of the project may require stream diversion and dewatering. The project does not include tree removal though approximately 38 linear feet of riparian understory will be permanently impacted by the project",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2019090420/2,Manley Lane Culvert LOP 235 Repair Project (Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600- 2019-0076-R3),Garrett Allen,Department of Fish and Wildlife Bay Delta Region,N/A,,"2825 Cordelia Road, Suite 100",,Fairfield,CA,95434,7074282076,38.42854°'"N 122.44125°'"W,,Napa,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,"Type - Class 2; California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15302",The project meets the criteria for the above-listed categorical exemptions because it includes in-kind replacement of a culvert that was damaged during an earthquake in 2014.
