Repair and maintenance will include, replacing roofing, windows, siding, doors, associated appliance roof vents, installing insulation, upgrading wiring as necessary and painting the structures. The project will also include repairing or replacing any existing buried waterlines, power lines, propane lines, and/or septic fields as necessary. Maintenance may also include replacement of any sidewalks, paving or resurfacing of any roadways internal to the compound and any general landscaping including the installation of irrigation systems. Maintenance will also include updating the sign (including the footings) and replacement of the flag poles. Reinvestment into the compound has been deferred for a significant number of years and age, weather, and rodent damage is currently affecting the utility of the compound's structures. The project location is within the Resource Management compound of the La Tour Demonstration State Forest.
