Ground disturbance will consist of using a backhoe with an auger bit to drill an 8 ft deep by 36-inch wide hole that will be filled with concrete to support the tower. A 35 ft trench will be dug no more than 12 inches deep to bury a 1-inch conduit that will carry the electronic cables from the camera and sensors to the power source. The construction will take approximately 3 days to complete. The spoils from the hole will be spread onsite over existing vegetated areas and the trough will be back filled with existing soil. The site has been previously disturbed by the installation of two municipal water tanks, electrical towers, and associated parking areas and infrastructure. The site is adjacent to and surrounded by homes.
