Over the years, the ground underneath the vault toilet has settled and now the concrete pad and adjoining sidewalk apron no longer meets accessibility standards. The plan is to use heavy equipment to break out the old concrete. The concrete will be loaded into a dump truck and taken to the stock pile at the Toner storage area for later recycling. The area will then be re-excavated and compacted with the addition of a blend of class 2-road base and drain rock to prevent future ground swell. This will be completed by way of heavy equipment (backhoe) and materials will be delivered by dump truck. Maintenance staff will construct forms for the new concrete using a mix of metal stakes and lumber. Measurements for the slabs will be a total of 470 square feet. The sidewalk will measure 6' x 15' and the parking pad will measure 18' x 20'.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2018058263,Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area - Parking Apron Replacement,Dan Canfield,California Department of Parks and Recreation,N/A,,"1725 23rd Street, Suite 200",,Sacramento,CA,95816-7100,9163241574,,,San Diego,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,15311,Construction of minor structures adjacent to existing facilities,,,,,,,,,,,,
