The point of delivery from MID to Belridge will be Cressey DWR recorder (CRS) on the Merced River. Belridge, as a member unit of the Kern County Water Agency, who holds a contract with the DWR which among other things, provides for use of state conveyance facilities for non-State Water Project water supplies, will coordinate delivery of the MID water through banks pumping plant and through CA Aqueduct for delivery to Belridge turnouts off the Aqueduct to meet landowner irrigation demands. MID Water will be delivered to the Belridge in 2018. The purpose of the project is to meet current year shortages within Belridge and reduce water costs for MID.
