The project is limited to removal of between 25,000 and 45,000 cubic yards of accumulated coble and mixed aggregate material from gravel bars present in Stony Creek upstream of the Lodoga-Stonyford Road Bridge in Colusa County. The project will begin approximately two hundred (200 feet upstream of the bridge and extend for a distance of about one-half mile). The significantly elevated gravel bars located within the bed of the creek will be lowered by means of shallow skimming using excavators, graders or a float tractor. By recontouring some gravel bars, and rmeoving others to the level of thalweg, the project will redirect stream flows from a series of significantly braided channels into a centralized, low flow channel within the creek bed; directing storm flows away from the banks of the creek and the abutments of the Lodoga-Stonyford Road Bridge. The excavated cobble and mixed aggregate will be transported off-site for final disposition.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2018042004/3,"Colusa County Public Works Flood Mitigation (Gravel Extraction) (ED #16-9, UP #16-2-3)",Bob Hosea,"CDFW, North Central Region",N/A,,"1701 Nimbus Road, Suite A",,Rancho Cordova,CA,95670,9163581124,39°22'54"N 122°33'18"W,,Colusa,,Lodoga-Stonyford Rd and East Park Rd,95979,15,"010-050-058, 71",,Stony Creek,,,,,,,,,,,,,CDFW ,No,11/2/2018,No,No,Yes,,Yes,,No,No,"1701 Nimbus Road, Suite A, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670"
