Project involves advancing three 100 foot deep geotechnical borings through the northbound lanes of SR 1 roadway at and near where it crosses over Old Creek. One shot will be bored through the roadway and bridge deck into the creek bed, and other two will be bored through the roadway into the soils just outside the creek approaching the bridge from both directions. All three borings will be advanced using a truck-mounted rill rig employing the punch-core wash drilling method. Soils data will be collected from three borings for use evaluating the density, strength, and liquefaction potential of the underlying soils. The soils data will inform the design of a planned replacement bridge. ",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2018021018/3,Old Creek Bridge,Steve Hulbert,CDFW,N/A,,"1234 E.
