Alternative 1 does not include the lodge/guesthouse and visitor and resident-serving uses. All other project components would remain the same. On February 1, 2021, the Huntington Beach City Council took the following actions as they pertain to the approximately 29 acre parcel, identified above as the Magnolia Tank Farm Project: held a second reading of and adopted Ordinance No. 4225 pertaining to Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA) No. 17-001 and Ordinance No. 4226 pertaining to Development Agreement (DA) No. 19-001. The ZMA changes the zoning from Public-Semipublic with Oil Production Overlay and Coastal Zone Overlay (PS-O-CZ) to Specific Plan with Coastal Zone Overlay (SP-18-CZ) and requires certification of a Local Coastal Program Amendment by the California Coastal Commission.
