The Basin 6 Infiltration Restoration project includes the one time dewatering and desilting of sub-basin A3 of Basin 6 in order to allow for increased groundwater recharge capability. Dewatering includes pumping and discharging water downstream into Basins 7 and 8, then into the confluence with Cucamonga Creek channel. Soils will be tested for permeability through drilling and trenching within the basin bottom. San Antonio Water Company shall not disturb any habitat or vegetation above the 1510 foot elevation in its desilting and recharge efforts. The basin floor will be ripped to a depth of minimum 12 inches as determined by the geotechnical consultant, and then smoothed.
