The project proposes to impact as many as 60.42 acres of stream, consisting of 39.31 acres of concrete-lined channel, 8.58 acres of unvegetated natural channel, 3.94 acres of disturbed wetland, 0.93 acre of coastal salt marsh, 1.67 acres of freshwater marsh, 0.18 acre of oak riparian, 3.90 acres of riparian forest/woodland, 1.61 acre of riparian scrub, and 0.29 acre of eucalyptus/ornamental to conduct routine maintenance and repair of public drainage facilities as described and depicted in the Municipal Waterways Maintenance Plan (MWMP), prepared by the City of San Diego Transportation & Stormwater Department, and dated March 2020. The MWMP includes site specific evaluations for a group of facilities where specific maintenance and repair activities are necessary to provide flood risk reduction and/or to ensure infrastructure longevity.
