The existing condition of the first section (western segment) consists of approx. 50 percent vegetation condition of the first section (western segment) consists of approx. 50 percent vegetation and 50 percent of road/trail (bare soil). This segment is approx. 0.25 acres in size (200'x40'). The second segment (easterns egment) is currently most vegetation. The size is 0.05 acres (50'x50'). Some grading will need to occur. Equipment to be used includes a dozer and grader. A safety delineator will also be installed with minimal soil disturbance. Safety Enhancements - Fencing: The safety enhancements will include installation of standard park fencing of between 250' up to 1,750' including up to (3) three access gates within practice 4x4 facility, the installation of up to 70' of standard park fencing within Zone 3 area adjacent to practice 4x4 facility at north side of Hangtown facility. Stormwater Improvements: This project will close a section within the 4x4 Track area to in order to improve storm water quality. This section is near a drainage. Approx. 1.25 acres will be closed using carsonites (approx. 600' of trail will be closed). The area may be regraded and/or prepped for rehabilitation efforts however the drainage itself will be avoided. The area will be hydroseeded in the fall with native vegetation.
