The density of the Proposed Project would be seven units per acre and would total 74,874 sq. ft. of living space in the proposed 72 units. Project activities related to the apartment complex include: 1) rough grading and filling of the seasonal wetland swale to install drain pipes; and 2) rough grading and partial filling of riparian wetland (including removal of riparian vegetation) to install a retaining wall. Project will also widen and pave an existing unpaved pedestrian paths that runs along the northern bank of Humbug Creek for use as a bike trail. The proposed trail will be ten feet wide and paved to match the existing trail to the west. A bike trail is also proposed in the eastern portion of the site that will connect to the bike trail proposed along Humbug Creek. This trail will also be 10 feet wide and paved. The portion of the site south of Humbug Creek is not proposed for development and will remain as open space. Project will impact 0.035 acres of seasonal wetland swale and 0.454 acres of riparian wetland (including removal of riparian vegetation).
