The entire project site, including the adjacent earthwork stockpile to the east of the ponds, comprises approx. 32 acres. The project will involve the removal of approx. 35,000 cy. of biosolids (sludge and soils) from the five wastewater treatment ponds. Biosolids will be disposed of at a Class II landfill(s) permitted to accept such waste. The ponds will be filled by utilizing an adjacent soil stockpile immediately east of the ponds. Since the amount of stockpiled soil is not enough to fill the ponds to the existing top of levee, the interior pond levees and the southern and eastern ring levees will be partially deconstructed to provide more fill material. Fill will be graded from west to east in ponds #1-4, with storm water discharging to an existing ditch east of the ponds (""35-acre Ag Field Ditch""). pond #5 will be backfilled with a minimum slope from north to south.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2015112030,Closure of Wastewater Treatment Ponds - Sacramento International Airport,Catherine Hack,Sacramento County,N/A,,"827 Seventh Street, Room 225",,Sacramento,CA,95814,9168746141,,Sacramento,Sacramento,,6900 Airport Blvd.,95837,32,201-0291-026,I-5,Sacramento River,SMF,Yes,11/13/2015,12/14/2015,Other,,"Air Quality, Geology/Soils, Wetland/Riparian, Wildlife",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
