One encroachment is for water diversion from unnamed tributaries to Jewett Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Another encroachment is for a proposed pond with an overflow that may connect to an adjacent stream during major storm events. Another encroachment is for decommissioning of an on-stream pond and restoration of the stream channel. The last three proposed encroachments are to upgrade or decommission failing and undersized stream crossings. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing crossings, replacement with new properly sized crossings (or stream restoration), backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2015102005/457,Water Diversion Removal (Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-HUM-36939-R1C),Cheri Sanville,Department of Fish and Wildlife,N/A,,619 Second Street,,Eureka,CA,95501,7074415901,,,Humboldt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Department of Fish and Wildlife,No,8/20/2020,No,No,Yes,,Yes,No,No,No,The mitigated negative declaration prepared for the project is available to the general public at the office location listed above for the Lead Agency.
