Two encroachments are for water diversions from wells immediately adjacent to the Mattole River. Water is diverted for domestic use and irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Permittee agrees to construct an off-channel water storage reservoir sufficient to supply all irrigation needs on the property and to obtain a Small Irrigation Registration from the State Water Resources Control Board to operate the reservoir. Anticipated completion of the reservoir project is Summer 2020. Until the reservoir is operational, Permittee will limit its diversions to 2018 levels or lower and will limit total diversion rate to 10 gallons per minute. The three other proposed encroachments are to maintain existing stream crossings or upgrade failing and undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill , and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2015102005/243,Water Diversion Removal (Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-HUM-36939-R1C),Greg O'Connell,Department of Fish and Wildlife Northern Region,N/A,,619 Second Street,,Eureka,CA,95501,7074415790,40.15515°'"N 124.00718°'"W,,Humboldt,,,,,108-011-026 and 221-171-029,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,CDFW,No,6/19/2019,No,No,Yes,,Yes,No,No,No,Available to the general public at the office location listed above for the Lead Agency.
