In general, the project would widen the roadway 1 to 6 feet to maintain a consistent 24-foot width with two 11-foot travel lanes and 1-foot shoulders. Additional improvements evaluated under the subsequent initial study in 2018 include replacing the existing culverts under SFDB at Schooner Creek with a single-span bridge and restoring and stabilizing approximately 710 feet of SFDB that has severly eroded. To compensate for permanent wetland impacts as a result of roadway improvements, part of the parking lot at Brakes beach would be restored to a wetland, and two ponds would be constructed within Home Ranch to provide California red-legged frog aquatic breeding habitat. Actions at Drakes Beach and Home Ranch extend beyond the original study area analyzed in 2015",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2015072028/4,Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Improvement Project,Rachel Reid,Marin County,N/A,,"3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 304",,San Rafael,CA,94903,4154736863,38°6'38.14"N 122°53'17.14"W,,Marin,,Pierce Point Road and Chimney Rock Rd; Sir Frances Drake Blvd,,90,,Hwy 1,"Schooner Creek, East Schooner Creek",,,,,,,,,,,,,Marin County ,Yes,8/28/2018,No,No,Yes,,Yes,,No,Yes,"3501 Civic Center Dr, Rm 304, San Rafael, CA 94903"
