The road is approx. 3,230 feet long and 30 feet wide and the area to be graded is approx. 2 acres. DFD staff will also perform maintenance work at the ramp located 200 feet to the west of the southern portion of the levee intake road. The ramp is approx. 20 feet wide by 75 feet long. Approx. 20 to 30 cubic yards of fill dirt will be applied in lifts, from the head to the toe of the existing ramp to reshape the ramp to a 2:1 grade. the existing culvert near the toe of the ramp has been crushed by vehicle traffic and will be replaced. A replacement culvert identical to the original culvert will be set into the newly formed ditch.
